A look back... Designing a wedding.

When I first began planning Sarah's wedding it was like unpacking a room of ideas. She wanted something romantic, ethereal, even bohemian and then she found her wedding dress. A tulle ballgown with a heavily beaded bodice full of sparkling crystals. It was stunning. She then threw in navy bridemaids dresses- one of the most classic colors you could think of. Certainly the opposite of all things bohemian and ethereal. However, as the design began to evolve it became something more of a ethereal Cinderella fairy tale. So how did this all come together? Well I have huge belief that color is everything. It can make or break a wedding and it's about placement and tones. So, in order for us to accomplish the original desire for an ethereal wedding we needed to soften the navy and so we chose colors like peach, ivory, champagne & mauve for our accent colors and flowers

Sarah also wore a beautiful bohemian headpiece with her veil to add to her theme. . The tables were decorated with lanterns, candelabras and extravagant flowers bouquets. Of course, plenty of candlelight and fairy lights in the trees to bring the romantic atmosphere. It indeed was a beautiful fairytale dream. Take a look.
